We’re looking for an experienced Qualified Roofer to join our growing renewables team, supporting the delivery of high-quality non-ECO Solar PV installations across South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an established roofing and solar team, working on well-planned projects with a strong focus on quality, safety, and professional workmanship.
The Role:
- Carry out roofing works associated with Solar PV installations
- Install and make good solar mounting systems
- Work across a range of roof types including slate, clay, concrete and flat roofs
- Ensure all penetrations are fully sealed and roofs remain weather-tight
- Identify and report roof defects before installation
- Work closely with electricians and project teams on-site
- Maintain excellent health & safety standards when working at height
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven roofing experience
- Demonstrable experience working on Solar PV projects
- Strong knowledge of roof structures and weatherproofing
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Good understanding of working at height and site safety
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable (not essential):
- PASMA / Working at Heights training
- Experience working alongside electricians on renewables projects
- Established roofing team or mate available
