WE’RE HIRING: FIRE & SECURITY PROJECT MANAGER
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, permanent | Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
Are you an experienced Fire & Security Project Manager looking for your next opportunity?
We’re looking for someone with strong technical knowledge of fire alarm and security systems who can manage projects from order through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing projects from start to finish
- Leading and coordinating engineers and subcontractors
- Managing labour, resources and project timescales
- Ensuring health and safety compliance and preparing RAMS
- Purchasing equipment and managing additional works costs
- Completing O&M manuals and relevant certification
- Liaising with customers, management and engineering teams
- Maintaining excellent communication and customer satisfaction
Essential Skills & Experience
- Technical knowledge of fire alarm systems
- Technical knowledge of CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Good IT and Microsoft Office skills
- Full driving licence
Desirable
- Fire alarm design experience, including complex cause and effect and networked systems
- Knowledge of IP systems
- FIA or other fire alarm design qualifications
