An established renewable energy provider is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to drive growth across its commercial solar portfolio. This role is focused on winning new business, building long‑term customer relationships, and guiding organisations through the transition to on‑site renewable energy.
You’ll work with SME and commercial clients, helping them understand the financial, operational, and sustainability benefits of solar PV and associated technologies. The role offers uncapped commission, clear progression, and exposure to a fast‑scaling part of the UK energy market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage relationships with commercial and industrial customers, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.
- Identify and target new commercial opportunities, sectors, and routes to market.
- Lead consultative sales conversations, educating clients on system design, ROI, payback, and long‑term energy savings.
- Own the full sales process from lead generation through proposal, negotiation, and close.
