Are you an experienced Sustainability Engineer or Consultant with a strong background working on energy modelling on building services projects? PT Renewables is partnered with a rapidly expanding, sustainability‑led building services consultancy that is shaping the future of better‑performing, low‑energy buildings. You’ll get the chance to partner with major developers, architects and contractors on projects spanning heritage, rail, education, commercial, healthcare, private residential and more. If you’re a senior consultant ready for that next step, or already operating at Principal level, this role gives you autonomy, visibility, progression and purpose.
The Role
You’ll have real scope to lead, innovate and push sustainability outcomes across complex schemes. You’ll work client‑side, collaborate closely with multi‑disciplinary engineers and shape solutions from early design through to handover.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Thermal modelling & energy assessments (IES)
- Feasibility and early‑stage optioneering
- Planning reports & environmental submissions
- Specification and technical documentation
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team leadership
About you
- 3–5+ years’ experience in building services design
- Working knowledge of IES & Level 5 Energy Assessments
- Understanding of SAP10, Part L, Part O & Net Zero requirements (education/residential experience is a plus)
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Passion for high‑performing buildings and low‑energy design
