Business Development Manager x5 | Permanent | Remote based with occasional UK travel to customer sites | £65,000-£80,000 About the job: The scope of the role is both exciting and challenging as our customer looks to add to their Business Development team by recruiting more experienced and well-connected Industry & Commercial (I&C) Business Development Managers within the utilities market. While creating a vibrant, profitable, and growing construction business that is regarded as an expert in its field is their aim, enabling the adoption of electrical asset within the group is the key driver for our client, alongside their sister company another utility leader. So, what will you be doing? The prime responsibility for this role is the growth of our clients sales across I&C ICP electricity grid connections that feed their new IDNO with electricity assets in the following example key market segments: Delivery Distribution Centres (DDCs) Data centres Business Parks Commercial buildings Industrial connections Manufacturing plants In line with the growth expectations of the business, full business plans and budgets are in place, with detailed targets and expectations for the above market segments. They are looking for you to deliver strong growth in the areas outlined above, both in the short and medium term. Success for this role will be the achievement of the ambitious targets relating to these sectors – the budgets, systems and people are in place, along with a market leading value proposition. To support the growth delivery, you will be responsible for the following activities: Delivering the agreed sales targets, at the required margins Lead Generation Prospecting potential clients Account Management of allocated existing key customers to maximise returns.
