About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive Maintenance Engineer with strong customer service skills. You’ll be working closely with internal teams and external contacts, helping keep the site, buildings, and equipment running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out routine building and grounds maintenance.
- Keep workshop areas organised, including storage of hire fleet and sales equipment.
- Move, load, and coordinate dispatch of equipment with yard and transport teams.
- Visit external sites to position or remove equipment.
- Maintain workshop and yard presentation standards.
- Support various departments with additional tasks as needed.
- Follow all health & safety, housekeeping, and company vehicle protocols.
- Adhere to quality, environmental, and safety standards (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015), contributing to continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- General maintenance skills.
- CSCS/CPCS/ECS card – preferred.
- Forklift licence – preferred.
- Slinger/Banksman – preferred (training available).
- MEWP licences – preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
