PT Renewables is working with one of Europe's newest unicorn businesses in the aerospace and defence sector. They're a European leader in unmanned technology, operating at the cutting edge of defence, surveillance, and aerospace. They're growing fast, and they need an experienced Environmental Lead to own environmental management and compliance across different programmes.

The Role

You'll be the go-to environmental expert - working closely with engineering, safety, and programme teams to make sure environmental risks are identified, assessed, and managed properly. That means delivering the full suite of environmental artefacts (EIAs, EMPs, Environmental Case Reports, Hazard Logs) and ensuring compliance with UK MOD requirements including POEMS and DEF STAN 00-51. This isn't a box-ticking compliance role. You'll be shaping how environmental thinking is embedded across the entire project lifecycle.

About You

  • 5+ years in an environmental role within aerospace and/or defence
  • Solid working knowledge of UK MOD POEMS, DEF STAN 00-51, and MAA RA 1801
  • Hands-on experience delivering environmental artefacts for defence air systems (UAVs, aircraft, etc.)
  • A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability or similar

The package:

  • Base salary up to £70,000
  • 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
  • Medical & dental insurance
  • Pension matched up to 10%
