I am currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer for one of the UK's leading employee-owned engineering businesses specialising in High Voltage infrastructure. With a strong track record delivering utility-scale projects, they are now driving ambitious renewable energy projects across the UK and are looking for the right person to lead the technical electrical side of things.
As their Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for leading technical electrical deliverables across the project lifecycle, from liaising with suppliers and manufacturers through to producing non-conformance reports and supporting the wider project team with the potential to undertake HV switching operations.
They are fully employee owned with a genuine focus on people, offering funded professional development, strong career progression, and a benefits package that includes profit share, private health insurance, and a car allowance or company vehicle.
What will you be doing?
- Lead technical electrical deliverables in support of the project team
- Produce non-conformance reports on technical deviations
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers across project stages
- Train and mentor less experienced team members
- Potential to undertake HV switching operations
What experience do you need?
- Experience in HV/Electrical Engineering
- Experience in project-based delivery environments
- Electrical Engineering degree or HND (HV Systems preferred)
- Chartered or working toward IEng/CEng (IET)
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
