As an ERP Specialist you've probably built your career on the quiet satisfaction of making things work properly. Diagnosing issues fast, owning the platform end to end, and being the person the business genuinely relies on when something breaks. How about taking those skills into a business at the forefront of the global energy transition?
The business is an industry-leading power solutions outfit who specialise in the design, manufacture and commissioning of high quality switchgear systems. They've got a global reputation for engineering excellence and serve major clients across Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Marine and Heavy Industry. Trusted by some of the biggest names in the sector, they're also committed to supporting the global transition to a sustainable net-zero future.
As their ERP Specialist you'll be responsible for the stability, usability, and continuous improvement of the ERP landscape, primarily Sage X3 with some Business Central exposure. Working closely with Business Process Owners, you'll deliver functional support, incident resolution, configuration management, and data integrity across the full estate, supporting users across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution and Commercial functions.
This is an excellent chance to step into a role where you genuinely shape how the platform evolves rather than just keeping the lights on, at a business with serious engineering pedigree and real scope for progression.
What you'll be doing:
- 1st and 2nd line functional support across Sage X3 and Business Central
- Diagnosing issues, performing root cause analysis, implementing fixes
- Managing incidents and service requests through Jira / Service Desk
- Coordinating with external Managed Service partners
- Supporting UAT, test scripts, and validation of changes
- Managing data imports, templates, and data integrity
- Supporting BI and reporting requirements
What we're looking for:
- ERP system administration experience (Sage X3, Business Central, Dynamics NAV, or similar)
- Solid SQL skills
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles and ALM practices
- Confident communicator who can document clearly and engage with non-technical users
- An understanding of governance and internal controls
What's on offer:
- Salary up to £68,000
- Hybrid working
- 26 days holiday plus bank holidays
- 4x life insurance
- Enhanced pension scheme
- Genuine ownership of the ERP landscape
If you've been doing ERP support work and want to step into a role where you own the platform rather than just maintain it, this is worth a conversation.
