We have an opportunity for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to lead the new Car Supermarket’s in-house mechanical team in Watford (stocking 250 + used cars). About the Role What will I be doing? Service, diagnose and repair a fleet of mixed vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards Carry out road tests when required to confirm and diagnose correct operation Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable Ensure workspace and tools/equipment is maintained to a high standard Responsibilities Service, diagnose and repair a fleet of mixed vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards Carry out road tests when required to confirm and diagnose correct operation Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable Ensure workspace and tools/equipment is maintained to a high standard Qualifications Your own tools Experience as a vehicle technician Understand and comply with health and safety standards A full and valid Driving Licence Required Skills Your own tools Experience as a vehicle technician Understand and comply with health and safety standards A full and valid Driving Licence Preferred Skills MOT Tester qualification NVQ (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Technology Lvl3+ Pay range and compensation package Basic Salary: Up to £60k per annum (depending on experience) Other Benefits include: Annual holiday – 28 days inclusive of public holidays The Hours Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 18:00 Saturday: 09:00 – 15:00 If you\’re keen to learn more about this opportunity, apply now with your CV.
