Are you an Automotive Mechanic? Are you a great problem solver? If so, this might be the right role for you! We have an opportunity for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to lead the new Car Supermarket’s in-house mechanical team in Watford (stocking 250 + used cars).
What will I be doing?
- Service, diagnose and repair a fleet of mixed vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards
- Carry out road tests when required to confirm and diagnose correct operation
- Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable
- Ensure workspace and tools/equipment is maintained to a high standard
What do I need for this role?
- Your own tools
- Experience as a vehicle technician
- Understand and comply with health and safety standards
- A full and valid Driving Licence
It will be a bonus if you had:
- MOT Tester qualification
- NVQ (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Technology Lvl3+
The Package
- Basic Salary: Up to £60k per annum (depending on experience)
- Annual holiday - 28 days inclusive of public holidays
The Hours
- Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 18:00
- Saturday: 09:00 - 15:00
