A world class manufacturing business in Blackwood is currently expanding and is looking for a Project Engineer to join them on their journey. They’re incredibly well known in the Electrical Engineering industry for their innovative products, including Switchgears, transformers, generators and many more. They’re a trusted partner to companies across the globe in a variety of industries, including Power Companies, Large industrial plants, infrastructure development and renewable energy projects.
The Role
- As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Project Managers in executing projects seamlessly from initiation to completion.
- Maintain project logs for Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions (RAID), expediting their resolution.
- Assist in project setup activities, including the establishment of project filing systems and loading commercial information onto ERP systems.
- Facilitate project kick-off meetings and maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage documentation flow through formal document control systems, including issuance and receipt to clients and suppliers.
- Coordinate procurement activities to ensure alignment with project schedules.
- Handle client invoicing, variations, and project update reports, providing necessary documentation and evidence.
- Support the continuous development of departmental processes and procedures.
About you
We are looking for a Project Engineer who has a background in Construction, Manufacturing or Engineering. You'll understand the nuances of working in this industry and be able to give valuable input where possible.
