The business works with building services and industrial clients on their most critical projects. This is a growing business of 70 people, investing in its delivery team as it scales.
The role
You will manage your mechanical pipework projects end to end, from programme and resource through to commercial performance, reporting into the operations and contracts management layer rather than being micromanaged. The business trusts its people to own their work, so you will have the room to run things your way with support around you when you need it. This is a hands on delivery role for a genuine pipework specialist who wants real ownership and a clear path to progress as the business grows.

- Build and maintain strong client and supply chain relationships
- Keep the operations and contracts team informed with clear progress and metrics
Essential experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services or mechanical contracting
- Genuine pipework expertise, which is non negotiable for this role
- Strong understanding of how a mechanical pipework package comes together on site, not just on paper
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and run projects with minimal oversight
- Good commercial awareness, including cost control, variations and reporting
- Confident and credible with clients, able to stand on your own two feet
Desirable
- Experience across commercial, healthcare, industrial or fit out sectors
- Exposure to offsite manufacturing, modular or prefabricated pipework
- Experience within a growing contractor where you have shaped how things are done
What we offer
- Salary of £70,000 to £90,000 plus package, depending on experience
- Genuine autonomy and ownership of your own projects
- A growing business doing quality work, with real investment in offsite manufacturing
- A clear path to progress as the company scales
- A performance driven culture where you get out what you put in
Who this suits
