Do you have a background working in Energy Supply?
PT Renewables is exclusively partnered with one of the UK's fastest-growing independent energy suppliers. They're looking for a Regulations Analyst to be their go-to person on everything regulatory in energy. That means understanding the rules, understanding why they exist, and making sure compliance is built into how the business operates - not as an afterthought.
The Role
You'll track and interpret regulatory change across the energy supply landscape, assess what it means for the business commercially and operationally, and work across teams to make sure they're always ahead of it. You'll be dealing with obligations across the usual frameworks - supplier licence conditions, BSC, REC, the broader Ofgem agenda. This isn't a box-ticking compliance job. They want someone who thinks about how regulation shapes strategy, and who'll help build processes that are genuinely robust as the business grows.
Who we're looking for
We're open on level for the right person. That might be:
- Someone with real depth - perhaps you've worked at Ofgem or Gemserv, or you've been the regulatory lead inside a supplier and know this world inside out.
- Or someone earlier in their career - smart, analytically strong, with a genuine interest in energy regulation and the drive to make the role your own. Maybe you've come through a grad scheme in a regulated sector, worked in policy or compliance.
What matters most
- A solid grasp of the energy supply regulatory landscape, or a clear and credible path to getting there quickly
- Strong analytical and written communication skills - you'll be translating complex regulation for non-regulatory colleagues
- A proactive, process-minded approach - you spot gaps before they become problems
Package
- Salary genuinely negotiable - rough guide is £45,000 - £60,000
- Bonus opportunities
- Hybrid working in Central London
- Enhanced leave, pension, healthcare and more.
