Are you an experienced Energy Engineer with a background working on building services projects? PT Renewables is partnered with a leading energy services business for their search for an Energy Engineer to join a team genuinely committed to tackling climate change.
If you want to move beyond desk-bound consultancy and into hands-on, end-to-end project delivery across the UK's growing decarbonisation projects, read on.
You'll support projects across their full lifecycle - from early feasibility and design through to construction verification and post-completion performance analysis. Working alongside internal specialists, external design teams, clients, and contractors, you'll help turn complex energy challenges into practical, high-impact solutions.
- Conducting energy modelling, feasibility studies, and site audits
- Identifying opportunities across lighting, HVAC, fabric, metering, plant, and renewables
- Analysing data to produce load profiles, benchmarking reports, and regression analysis
- Calculating energy and carbon savings, costs, and payback periods
- Producing detailed technical reports with specifications, pricing inputs, and economic analysis
Experience in energy performance contracting, consultancy, or a comparable environment is required. A solid background in energy audits, reporting, and investment-grade output development is essential. A practical understanding of energy conservation measures and how to deliver them is necessary. Exposure to design, construction, systems operation, energy modelling, or solution development is beneficial. Membership of the Energy Institute or similar body is a plus.
