As a Project Planner, you’ve probably got a passion for the meticulous planning and execution of projects, ensuring on-time delivery while maximising efficiency. The business is a trusted partner for National Power generation and distribution networks, offering sustainable solutions in the design and construction of HV electrical infrastructure across the network. To date, they’ve worked on over 200 HV Electrical projects, including switchgear replacements, substations and much more. They’re also an award-winning provider of product technology within the Electrical Industry, with a commitment to supporting the transition to a sustainable net-zero future.
As their Project Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, identifying path activities, and managing risks to ensure their projects are delivered on time, within budget. This is an excellent chance to work with a business at the forefront of the UK Electrical Infrastructure industry, with exciting expansion and progression opportunities. Remote role with occasional site visits.
Responsibilities:
- Work with project teams to develop and maintain project plans in Engineering, manufacturing, procurement and installations.
- Allocate and monitor resources - whether that be labour, equipment or materials.
- Develop project schedules, and update project timelines.
- Foster communication between project teams and stakeholders, including preparing and presenting progress reports.
Necessary experience:
- Good understanding of Engineering, Procurement or construction projects.
- Proven Project planner experience.
- Experience with MS Project.
What will you get in return?
- Salary up to £45,000.
- 25 Days holiday.
- Pension contribution up to 7%. (You put in 4.5% they put in 7%)
- Yearly salary raises.
