PT Renewables is partnered with a growing and forward-thinking construction group looking for a Head of Sustainability & Environment to shape and deliver the next phase of its sustainability journey.

The RoleThis is an opportunity to build and shape sustainability strategy at group level, not just maintain existing frameworks. You’ll have senior-level visibility, the backing of leadership, and the chance to influence how a major construction business approaches net-carbon development and ESG performance over the coming years.
What you’ll be doing- Developing and delivering the Group Sustainability Strategy and long-term ESG vision
- Establishing baseline sustainability data and defining measurable targets for improvement
- Working with senior leadership and the ESG committee to drive the Group ESG Plan
- Acting as an internal advisor to teams across the business on sustainability best practice
- Supporting the delivery of social value programmes across projects and communities
- Building relationships with NGOs, industry bodies, local authorities and policy makers
- Driving awareness and engagement with sustainability initiatives internally and externally
- Experience developing and implementing organisation-wide sustainability strategies
- Strong understanding of the ESG and sustainability landscape, particularly within construction or the built environment
- Confidence presenting and influencing at senior leadership level
- A passion for sustainability, community impact and responsible development
- Salary up to £83,000 + £5,500 Car Allowance
- Hybrid working in South London/Kent
- Bonus opportunities, development, enhanced leave and generous pension.
