Due to their continued success, they are looking to bring onboard a brand-new Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor - delivering H&S advice to multiple clients across the South-West.
The Role
As a SHE Advisor, you’ll be the go-to person for all things Safety, Health, Environment, and Sustainability across multiple sites.
This is a hands-on, high-impact position where your work directly shapes the wellbeing of teams and the success of projects.
You’ll lead by example - promoting best practice, guiding teams through audits and inspections, and ensuring every project meets and exceeds our SHE standards.
And with a strong focus on sustainability, you’ll also play a key role in driving initiatives like carbon reduction, waste minimisation, recycling, and energy efficiency.
Your day-to-day
- Acting as the main point of contact for all SHE matters on site.
- Conducting inspections and audits to uphold our high safety and environmental standards.
- Supporting teams with risk assessments, method statements, and incident investigations.
- Using our Digital Management System (DMS) and dashboards to track and improve performance.
- Collaborating with our SHEQ team to ensure legal compliance and company standards are met.
About you
- A NEBOSH National General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and current environmental legislation.
- A valid CSCS card.
Bonus points if you also have:
- A Fire Risk Assessment Certificate or IEMA Environmental Management Certificate.
- An NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Practice.
- Membership of IOSH, IIRSM, or IEMA.
- First Aid or Mental Health First Aider certification.
