PT Renewables is partnered with a boutique and growing consultancy who are looking for a motivated On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA).
The Role
You\'ll join an established sustainability and compliance team and deliver on a wide range of residential and commercial projects.
Day to day, you’ll:
- Carry out SAP assessments and calculations
- Complete overheating assessments, water efficiency calculations and U-value calculations
- Produce energy statements and technical reports for planning
- Support clients in meeting Building Regulations, planning policy and sustainability targets
- Select the right methodologies and compliance strategies for each project
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has a few years experience in delivering on energy consultancy projects and is ambitious to help grow in a new environment.
You’ll need:
- OCDEA (SAP) qualification and hands-on assessment experience
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience using energy modelling software (ideally Elmhurst Design SAP)
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Working knowledge of UK environmental regulations and sustainability criteria
It would also be great if you have:
- Degree-level education in a relevant discipline
- Membership of a professional body (IEMA, CIBSE, LCC, etc.)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the sector
