Weβre looking for a forward-thinking Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team working on a range of innovative projects across industrial and commercial sectors.
This role would suit someone with a modern approach to mechanical design, ideally with strong exposure to the latest CAD technologies, automation-focused design principles, and contemporary manufacturing methods.
Key Responsibilities- Produce detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings using modern CAD software
- Develop innovative engineering solutions from concept through to manufacture
- Work closely with electrical, manufacturing, and project teams
- Support product improvement and continuous innovation initiatives
- Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards and project specifications
- Participate in design reviews and problem-solving activities
- Previous experience within a mechanical design engineering role
- Strong CAD capability (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD or similar)
- Understanding of modern manufacturing and fabrication techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
- Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously
- HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar preferred
