Our client are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their specialist HV engineering team delivering high voltage grid connections and renewable energy projects. Work on cutting edge wind, solar, and battery storage installations that keep the UK powered and moving toward a carbon free future.
UK Site Based (Frequent Overnight Stays) OTE up to £60,000 + Profit Share + Benefits
The Role:
- Assembly & testing of HV equipment (including substations up to 132kV)
- Inspections, ductor testing & compliance checks
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Work alongside HV installation teams on new installations
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years’ Mechanical Fitter experience
- Skilled in oxygen/propane brazing & exothermic welding
- HV switchgear installation experience advantageous
- Full UK driving licence & Right to Work
