If you are a SHEQ professional with a background in construction, renewables or engineering looking to join an exciting Renewables business, this is worth a read.
PT Renewables is partnered with a well-established, employee-owned engineering business that is right at the heart of the UKβs shift to clean energy. They design and deliver high-voltage, utility-scale renewable energy infrastructure. We are looking for a SHEQ Advisor to help them do it safely, compliantly, and brilliantly.
The Role:
This is a hands-on, broad SHEQ position, where you will be leading on SHEQ culture, ensuring that site teams are following procedures. You will be actively supporting live projects, getting out on site, running audits and inspections, and making sure health, safety, environmental and quality standards are embedded into everything the business does - tenders, procurement, contractor management and close-out.
Day to day:
- Maintaining and continuously improving ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 management systems
- Delivering audits, compliance checks and site inspections across the business
- Investigating incidents and near misses, leading root cause analysis and lessons-learnt sessions
- Advising project and operational teams on legal compliance and SHEQ best practice
- Producing and presenting SHEQ briefings that people actually engage with
- Embedding a genuine safety-first culture
About you:
You will need solid, demonstrable experience working in a construction, utilities, electrical or engineering environment. Renewables is not a necessity, but you will need an understanding of CDM regulations. A good working knowledge of CDM Regulations (2015) is required, along with hands-on involvement in ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 auditing. A NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or NVQ equivalent) is also necessary, as well as a full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
The Package:
Β£38,000 β Β£48,000 + Β£4,000 car allowance. Annual bonus up to 20% based on personal performance. Company share bonus - paid for past two years at 25% of salary. 25 daysβ holiday + bank holidays. Private health insurance, Pension & life assurance. Funded training and professional development.
If you are ready to take on a meaningful SHEQ role with a forward-thinking business doing important work - we would love to hear from you.
