An established building services contractor is looking to appoint M&E Contracts Managers to join a growing delivery team in Cardiff. Opportunities are available at graduate, intermediate, and senior levels, making this ideal for candidates looking to step up or develop within a structured environment.

You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of major projects including arenas, semiconductor facilities, data centres, education, and healthcare schemes, overseeing delivery from pre-construction through to completion.

The Role

  • Manage multiple M&E contracts from inception to completion
  • Lead project delivery teams across mechanical & electrical packages
  • Prepare and manage contracts, variations and commercial documentation
  • Monitor programme, costs and resource allocation
  • Maintain relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with H&S and industry regulations
  • Provide reporting on progress, risks and commercial performance

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as an M&E Contracts Engineer / Manager (or similar)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical & electrical building services
  • Good project management and organisational skills
  • Commercial awareness and budget control experience
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management ability
  • Relevant engineering or construction qualification (preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects

Desirable

  • Building services contracting background
  • Knowledge of construction software (Bluebeam, Procore, Revizto etc.)
  • Ability to review technical drawings and specifications
  • Experience with document management systems
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
