PT Renewables are partnered with a growing UK Construction business looking for an experienced Environmental Manager to lead on sustainability and environmental best practice across civils projects.
The Role
This is a senior role where you’ll shape how teams reduce impact, enhance performance, and deliver the highest environmental standards.
What you’ll be doing:
- Driving compliance with ISO 14001 and company environmental standards
- Leading site inspections, identifying risks, and sharing best practice across teams
- Overseeing environmental monitoring (water, dust, noise, waste) and analysing data to support decision-making
- Ensuring robust environmental management systems are in place through audits and checks
- Developing environmental mitigation strategies and embedding them into project delivery
- Producing and maintaining the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and associated plans
About you
- Significant experience in environmental management within civils, infrastructure, or consultancy
- Strong technical knowledge of environmental impacts, risks, and mitigation measures
- Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor (advantageous but not essential)
- Membership of IEMA and working towards chartered status
