PT Kids is a specialist independent paediatric physiotherapy and occupational therapy service, supporting children and young people aged 0–19 with a wide range of complex and developmental needs — from cerebral palsy and acquired brain injury to developmental coordination disorder and post-surgical rehabilitation. We work with families, case managers, and schools across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire — delivering therapy in the child's own environment, and from our clinic base in Everton, Doncaster. We're growing. And we're looking for the right physiotherapist to grow with us.

What the Role Looks Like

  • Flexible part-time hours and days — you choose what works for you
  • A mix of community visits (home, school, nursery) and clinic-based sessions at our Everton base
  • A genuinely varied caseload — from early developmental needs through to complex neuro and case-managed rehabilitation
  • Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience and case type
  • A small, supportive team that genuinely cares — about the children we work with and the people who work with us

Who We're Looking For

  • The clinical skills matter. But so does the person.
  • We're looking for a physiotherapist who:
    • Is HCPC registered with paediatric experience
    • Holds a full UK driving licence with access to their own vehicle
    • Is genuinely hands-on — you believe therapy happens through doing, not just advising
    • Builds strong, warm relationships with children, families and the professionals around them
    • Approaches independent practice with an open mind and a positive attitude
    • Smiles. That sounds simple — but it matters enormously to the families we work with.

If you're someone who finds the NHS frustrating not because you don't believe in it, but because you want to do more for children and their families — we'd love to hear from you.

Why PT Kids?

  • Founded and led by a clinician, not a business person
  • Values-led, goal-focused practice — we never give up on a child
  • Complex, interesting caseload including case-managed and medico-legal cases
  • Real flexibility — no rigid rotas, no unnecessary admin
  • A team that feels like family
