We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our Banking and Finance team in our London office. The team works with a variety of lenders, corporates and sponsors on a range of financing transactions including leverage finance, real estate finance, project finance and asset-based lending. Our specialist team works closely with their clients to really understand their needs to find the right funding solution for them. Whether it’s the launch of a new project or the acquisition of a new company, we can provide innovative approaches to funding in order to meet our clients’ needs.

You’ll be joining a growing and ambitious team, offering excellent scope for progression, meaningful client exposure, and the opportunity to play a key role in further developing the practice. What you’ll be doing:

  • Advising on a broad range of banking and finance matters
  • Leading on transactions with appropriate supervision, managing matters from instruction through to completion
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
  • Develop opportunities for referral of work across the business and actively participate in business development opportunities.

About You

You will need:

  • 5+ PQE with a solid background in banking and finance
  • Strong experience in corporate lending and/or leveraged finance and/or real estate finance
  • Confident managing transactions and client relationships with a high degree of autonomy
  • Excellent technical ability and drafting skills
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across teams and offices
  • Commercially astute, proactive and driven, with a genuine interest in developing your practice
