We are recruiting for a part‑time Receptionist to join our Hereford operations team. Our reception team are a critical link between us and our clients, a lifeline for our employees and even a reassuring first impression for interviewing candidates.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet all visitors to the firm, including clients.
- Field and redirect incoming calls as appropriate.
- Upkeep a timely response to incoming calls and email queries.
- Manage visitor sign in (including the contractor log) and distribute visitor passes.
- Replenish meeting rooms (note pads, tissues etc…)
- Order stationery and refreshments as needed.
- Book meeting rooms as needed, allowing for the set up of events.
- Coordinate with any external vendors, contractors or catering needed for events.
- Conduct routine safety and maintenance checks.
- Handle incoming post, special deliveries and couriers.
- Frank outgoing post.
- Log files according on SOS.
About You
Whilst previous experience as a Receptionist or Administration would be beneficial, it is not essential. We are looking for someone who:
- Has former experience in a client/customer facing environment.
- An ability to build rapport with clients quickly and professionally.
- Is organised and able to manage changing priorities.
- Has an approachable nature as both clients and employees will look to you for support.
- Proactive and can‑do approach.
- Thrives best in a collaborative team environment.
We are looking for someone to work part‑time, 20 hours a week; Wednesday afternoons and Thursday and Friday between 8.30 - 17.30.
