We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a client facing environment to join our Private Client Team. This team acts for a vast number of high net worth clients as well as numerous private family and charitable trusts. Based in our Northampton Office, you will provide in-depth business support to the Partners and fee earners within the team. This role will see you working on a great variety of interesting tasks and would be well suited to someone with a flair for PA duties.

Responsibilities of a Senior/Legal Support Assistant include:

  • Proactive diary management for allocated fee earners.
  • Preparing correspondence and documents through audio typing and word-processing.
  • Drafting and formatting of letters, documents and forms.
  • Being the first point of contact for clients.
  • Liaising directly with third parties such as banks, the Probate Registry and HMRC.
  • Administrative and business support for allocated fee earners, anticipating the team's needs where possible.
  • Assisting with the preparation of all financial transactions as required.

About You

  • An adaptable and personable telephone etiquette and experience of working in a client facing environment.
  • Proactive nature and excellent attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
  • Strong administration experience with a flair for PA duties.
  • Experience within a legal, medical or professional services environment; former experience within the Private Client sector would be extremely desirable.
  • Sound IT knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
