About the Role
We are currently looking for a detail-oriented individual to fulfill a crucial role in our support staff within our Dispute Resolution Team. Our large team of Dispute Resolution Solicitors handle a diverse range of issues and have a growing national reputation. This role will sit in the Real Estate Disputes subgroup. Based in our bustling Cheltenham Office and reporting to the Legal Support Manager, the Legal Support Assistant role objective is to provide in-depth business support to the fee earners within the team, including the following responsibilities:
- Drafting and formatting of letters, documents, and forms as well as proofreading documents.
- Being a first point of contact for any administrative and business support requirements for fee earners, identifying priorities and anticipating the team's needs where possible.
- Assisting with the preparation of all financial transactions as required.
- Filtering client queries, at times being the first point of contact for clients.
- Proactive diary management for allocated fee earners, including making travel arrangements around meetings as required.
- Carrying out conflict and ID checks.
About You
As a Legal Support Assistant you will have:
- Sound knowledge of IT systems including full Microsoft Office suite and Teams.
- Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of your work, with confident typing abilities.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Experience in a client-facing environment would be advantageous.
- Former experience within a legal/professional services environment would be desirable.
- Experience in case management systems is preferable but not essential.
