This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious private client solicitor to join the Private Client team in the Hereford office. The private client team is one of the largest and most experienced in the country and a core part of the firm. The team covers the full spectrum of private client matters, including wills, trusts, tax, estate planning, probate and estate administration, often with an agricultural focus. You will have the opportunity to work with high net worth individuals, business owners and private family trusts, often across generations. Our private client lawyers are renowned for their depth of knowledge. Team members hold STEP qualifications, are part of Lifetime Lawyers and are recognised in The Legal 500, Chambers High Net Worth Guide, Spears and ALA.
You’ll be joining a supportive team with opportunities for progression, development and learning. You will be a qualified solicitor or legal executive with up to 4 years’ experience in private client. You’ll manage your own caseload of wills, probate, LPAs, trusts, estates and tax. A strong eye for detail and excellent client care are essential. You’ll be encouraged to get involved in business development and networking, both internally and externally. We encourage all members of the team to become full members of STEP and provide support to those working towards qualification.

- Experience of Private Client work
- An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships
- Excellent technical ability and drafting skills
- IT proficiency
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail
