We are looking for a Conveyancer to join our Residential New Build Plot Sales team in Worcester. The team works with a range of clients to facilitate the sale of new plots, from the set up of the site at the beginning of a transaction to dealing with enquiries and exchange and completion. We are now looking to add someone to the team who is confident running files and providing guidance to the more junior members of the team. Conveyancing qualifications are not essential.
Responsibilities
- Advise on a range of issues across the breadth of plot sales work.
- Support with the continued development of the junior members of the team.
- Be committed to delivering the highest levels of client service.
- Make a positive and energetic contribution to a dynamic and confident team.
- Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within plot sales, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge.
- Develop opportunities for referral of work across the business (both internally and externally) and actively participate in business development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience within conveyancing and/or plot sales.
- We are open to receiving applications from candidates without formal qualifications who have 2+ years’ experience of managing residential conveyancing or plot sales files, or qualified candidates with up to 2 years post qualification experience (qualified Solicitors, CILEX lawyers or Licensed Conveyancers will be considered).
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and professionally engage with clients.
- The ability to supervise junior team members, facilitating their development and providing day to day support to the wider team.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent technical ability and drafting skills.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Proactive, ambitious and organized with a keen eye for detail.
- Resilience and the ability to complete tasks against tight deadlines.
