About The Role

We are looking for an Associate to join our growing family team in London, which is headed up by a Legal 500 and Chambers UK ranked lawyer and undertakes high‑end private financial remedy work.

Following our office move earlier this year, you will join our brand‑new London office and work alongside a highly trained team of specialist family lawyers. The team covers every aspect of family law, with a strong leaning towards financial remedy work.

What we need you to do

• Advise on a wide range of family law issues with a focus on financial remedy work.
• Develop the London offering, establishing inter‑office business relationships and cross‑referrals with our growing London‑based lawyers.
• Develop and maintain knowledge on family law issues, sharing knowledge with colleagues across the team.
• Contribute to business development and identify networking opportunities internally and externally, marketing through Resolution in London and attending their events.
• Assist the Lead Partner with workload, with a view to developing your own caseload and a 2‑year plan to establish it.

About You

• 2‑5 years PQE.
• A solid grounding in family law, with significant experience in financial remedy work.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships.
• Excellent technical and drafting skills.
• Proven teamwork and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail.
