Our Commercial Property team in Cheltenham is looking to recruit a Solicitor to join the team. The team focuses on a mixture of commercial property work, city-centre locations to rural development, and small shops to major London offices; we’ve worked on all types of projects including nursing homes, factories, pubs, hotels and schools. This is a role with a mixed workload, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of general commercial property files including buying, selling, leasing and development. You will also work closely with a Partner in the team who specialises in Education Property, including conversions and transfers to academies and independent school mergers. This will be an opportunity for you to utilise your existing commercial property knowledge and develop your experience in a varied role.
What we need you to do:
- Advise on a range of issues across the breadth of commercial property.
- Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within commercial property, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge.
- Develop opportunities for referral of work across the business and actively participate in business development opportunities.
About You
You will need:
- NQ – 1 year PQE, with previous experience in commercial property work through a training contract seat and/or a previous Paralegal role.
- An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships.
- Excellent technical ability and drafting skills.
- To demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills.
- To have strong commercial acumen.
- To be proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail.
