Due to the firm's continued growth we are now looking to further expand our Family team in the East Anglia region. We are looking for a Senior Associate to join the Cambridge office, and play a key part in the growth of the team. Working alongside the Partner in the team, you will work on a range of family matters, focusing predominantly on financial remedy work. We are keen to expand our footprint in the Cambridge area, so we are looking for someone based locally, who already has connections in the area, and is keen to network and increase the firm's exposure. In exchange you will have a great platform from which to grow and further develop your own practice.
What we need you to do:
- Advise on a range of issues across the breadth of family law, with a focus on financial remedy work.
- Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within family law, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge.
- Contribute to business development opportunities and identify networking opportunities internally and externally, marketing and cross selling.
- Supporting and training junior members of the team.
About You
You will need:
- 5+ years or more PQE.
- A solid grounding in family law within the Cambridge market, with significant experience in financial remedy work.
- An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships.
- Excellent technical ability and drafting skills.
- To demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills.
- To have strong commercial acumen.
- To be proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail.
