The Business

Some brands are bought. Others become part of people’s routines, rituals and everyday lives. We are partnering with a highly respected FMCG business whose products are trusted by millions of consumers across the UK. Built on strong values, long term thinking and exceptional product quality, the business has created a portfolio with genuine consumer loyalty and impressive market momentum. However, this is far from a business standing still. The next chapter of growth is being driven through innovation, portfolio expansion, evolving consumer behaviour, new channels and increasingly sophisticated commercial strategy. As the business continues to grow, so does the need for sharper commercial decision making. At the centre of all of this sits Net Revenue Management.

The Opportunity

This is a strategically important Senior Net Revenue Manager role, created to help shape the future commercial direction of a major FMCG business. Working cross functionally with Commercial, Category, Marketing and Finance teams, you will help build and embed a more sophisticated, insight led and commercially disciplined NRM capability across the organisation. This is not simply a reporting or analytics role. It is a highly influential commercial position for somebody who can combine data, insight and strategic thinking with the ability to influence real business decisions. You will operate as a strategic partner to senior leadership, helping identify growth opportunities, improve commercial effectiveness and support long term profitable growth across the portfolio. This is a genuine opportunity to help shape how the business thinks commercially over the next three to five years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Net Revenue Management strategy across the business
  • Support pricing strategy, pricing governance and value realisation initiatives
  • Drive greater understanding of promotional effectiveness, trade investment and revenue quality
  • Identify commercial opportunities through market analysis, shopper insight, competitor intelligence and internal data
  • Support portfolio optimisation, mix management and pricing architecture decisions
  • Embed stronger commercial discipline across pricing, promotional investment and customer agreements
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Category and Finance teams to influence commercial planning
  • Help build internal NRM capability through coaching, education and cross functional engagement
  • Develop commercially actionable insight using data sources including Nielsen, Circana, Kantar and internal BI tools
  • Support long term strategic planning through robust commercial analysis and recommendation

Why This Role is Different

Net Revenue Management here is becoming increasingly central to the future growth strategy of the business. The foundations are already extremely strong. The products have genuine consumer loyalty, the culture is highly respected internally and the business has significant momentum across the market. The opportunity now is to bring greater sophistication, governance and strategic clarity to how commercial growth is managed.

This means working on challenges that genuinely matter:

  • How should pricing evolve across channels?
  • Where should promotional investment increase or reduce?
  • How can portfolio mix improve profitability?
  • How should innovation be priced and positioned?
  • How can commercial decisions better balance volume, value and long term brand health?

For the right individual, this is an opportunity to build something meaningful and highly visible.

The Culture

This is a values driven FMCG business with a collaborative, grounded and highly respected culture. People are trusted. Ideas are listened to. Long term thinking matters. Whilst the business is ambitious and commercially driven, it retains a strong sense of authenticity and care in how decisions are made and how people work together. It is the kind of environment where commercially capable individuals are given room to contribute, influence and grow.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a commercially minded Net Revenue Management professional who can combine analytical strength with strong stakeholder influence and strategic thinking. You will likely bring:

  • Experience within Net Revenue Management, Revenue Growth Management, Commercial Finance, Commercial Strategy or related commercial functions
  • Strong understanding of pricing, promotions, portfolio strategy, mix and trade investment
  • The ability to turn complex data into commercially actionable recommendations
  • Strong analytical capability with experience working across category, shopper and market data
  • Credibility influencing cross functional stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, Category and Finance
  • Experience building governance, frameworks or commercial decision making processes
  • The ability to operate strategically whilst remaining commercially practical and delivery focused
  • Experience within FMCG or other commercially sophisticated consumer environments would be highly advantageous
  • Experience with tools and data sources such as Nielsen, Circana, Kantar or equivalent would also be beneficial

If you are looking for a highly visible commercial role where you can genuinely influence growth strategy within a major FMCG business, we would be very interested to hear from you.
