The Opportunity
An exciting interim opportunity has arisen for a Senior Product & Innovation Manager to join a high performing marketing team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This is a pivotal role for a commercially minded product leader who thrives on turning insight into innovation. You will take ownership of a diverse product portfolio, shaping a pipeline of compelling, category leading initiatives that excite consumers and deliver sustainable growth.
Operating at the centre of the organisation, you will lead cross functional innovation projects, influence senior stakeholders, and play a key role in ensuring the portfolio remains relevant, competitive, and future focused.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the product and innovation agenda across a defined portfolio
Build and deliver a robust, insight led innovation pipeline aligned to consumer and category trends
Manage the full product life cycle
Oversee performance tracking, profitability, renovation, and portfolio optimisation decisions
Use consumer research, market data, and trend analysis to identify growth opportunities
Translate insight into clear product concepts and winning propositions
Lead projects through structured stage and gate processes from concept to launch
Partner closely with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales
Build compelling commercial stories
Develop strong business cases and sell in narratives to influence internal and external stakeholders
Lead and inspire
Coach and develop team members
Foster a positive, collaborative culture with a strong focus on innovation and delivery
What You Bring
Proven experience managing and developing a portfolio of FMCG products
Strong understanding of market performance, profitability, and life cycle management
A track record of delivering insight led innovation
Able to identify meaningful consumer needs and translate them into commercially successful initiatives
Strong commercial and analytical capability
Confident using data and research to shape projects and influence decisions
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Comfortable influencing cross functional teams and senior leaders
Solutions focused, adaptable, and energised by pace and complexity
Passionate about developing talent and bringing out the best in others
