Mechanical Engineer – Product Development

Location: Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire

Hours: 37 hours per week (early finish on Fridays)

The role offers the chance to take ownership of developing product designs from concept to production.

Responsibilities include:

• Mechanical design for both new and existing products
• Product development and cost analysis, ensuring lifecycle management
• High-quality 3D modelling and drawing creation to industry standards

Requirements:

• Engineering degree, preferably in thermodynamics, aerodynamics, fluid dynamics, dynamics and vibrations, or renewable energy
• Strong mechanical design skills with at least three years of industry experience
• Experience in design for manufacture and assembly
• Ability to use 3D CAD software, ideally SolidWorks
• Proven experience in cost-down design activities
