Responsibilities:
- Identify areas for quality improvement and develop cost-effective solutions while maintaining key quality objectives.
- Review processes and products to identify cost-saving opportunities and manage the delivery of cost-reduction plans.
- Drive efficiency improvements, focusing on process enhancements and reducing setup times in the machine shop.
- Act as the first point of contact for production issues, coordinating with relevant departments to resolve problems.
- Support the resolution of supplier quality issues.
- Reduce waste by eliminating unnecessary activities, minimising material scrap, and enhancing overall efficiency.
- Improve first-time pass rates for end-of-line product testing and reduce time spent on rework.
