Established in 2014, Psymplicity has provided outpatient psychiatry, psychology and psychotherapy services to thousands of individuals, couples and families with a wide range of mental health concerns since its inception. We work with individuals from all age groups referred to our clinic, as well as having contracts in place with schools, universities, and corporations to provide an array of services to their students and employees. With demand for services surging, we are interested in speaking with general adult psychiatrists looking for an opportunity to be part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychotherapists, working together to provide an excellent care and treatment experience for our patients and helping us to further develop as a leading provider of psychiatric care. Location: • Online outpatient Psychiatry (work from home – remote) Contract Type: • Independent Contractor Remuneration: • Competitive Job description: Varied and clinically interesting outpatient caseload across mood, anxiety, and neuro-developmental disorders with some more complex severe and enduring patient presentations, covering assessment and treatment pathways and early progression to a balanced caseload of new and follow-up patients. Options to immediately refer patients in-house to multidisciplinary team members offering a variety of therapeutic treatment modalities. Timetabled weekly and monthly MDT meetings, risk management meetings, clinical governance meetings, CPD, and PDP with opportunities to be involved in clinical leadership and service development where interested. Patient referrals are managed centrally and allocated to meet your clinical caseload preference. All patient, GP, and Insurer liaison, including diary booking, dictation, transcription, and report formatting is handled by our in-house team allocated to support you with your caseload. Weekly, monthly, and quarterly peer and MDT meetings that can be attended remotely. Experience: You have a full GMC license, CCT in General Adult Psychiatry / Forensic Psychiatry, AC, and Section 12 approval. You have recent and relevant experience providing safe and effective interventions to improve the lives of individuals and families struggling with mental health difficulties. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You are a team player and enjoy supporting others in the workplace. You have effective time and management skills. Skills/Qualities: You are a provider of safe and effective therapeutic interventions to adult patients and are able to offer support to their families. You know when to make appropriate recommendations and referrals to other services. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You are able to support the development of new initiatives and ways of working. You work within your competency and standards as defined by your professional body, with whom you are in good standing.
