The HR Director – International will lead the People agenda across PsychPlus’ non-US markets, with a current focus on the UK, Spain, Australia, and Pakistan. Acting as the regional counterpart to the Global CHRO, this role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will partner closely with international leadership teams to deliver people strategies that drive growth, clinical excellence, and regulatory compliance, while ensuring alignment with global standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional People Leadership
- Serve as the senior People leader for all international markets outside the US.
- Partner with regional leadership to align people strategy with business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
- Employment Law, Compliance & Employee Relations
- Lead employee relations across international markets, managing complex and sensitive cases.
- Ensure compliance with employment law and regulatory requirements in the UK, Spain, Australia, and other jurisdictions.
- Oversee restructures, consultations, and workforce transitions in line with local legal frameworks.
- Talent & Performance
- Lead regional talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies.
- Support leadership development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Ensure consistent application of performance and talent processes across markets.
- Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
- Partner with the CHRO to implement global reward strategies at a regional level.
- Oversee regional payroll and benefits, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness.
- Advise on local market practices and cost implications.
- Organizational Design & Change
- Support organizational design initiatives across international teams.
- Lead change management efforts related to growth, integration, or restructuring.
- Ensure clarity of roles, accountability, and ways of working across regions.
- Culture, DEI & Engagement
- Champion company culture and values across international teams.
- Implement DEI initiatives tailored to local contexts while aligned to global strategy.
- Drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives regionally.
Experience required
- Senior HR leadership experience in multinational organizations.
- Strong hands-on expertise across UK, Spanish, Australian, and Pakistani employment frameworks, with the ability to quickly adapt to other markets.
- Experience supporting growth, integration, or transformation in regulated environments.
- Background in healthcare, technology, or professional services preferred.

Additional Information
- The expected base pay for this role will be between £80,000 and £110,000 annually at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience.
- Schedule/Timings: Standard UK time 9 am -5pm (25 days of PTO + national holidays)
