Reporting to: Third Party Risk & Assurance Manager

Remuneration: £30,000 - £34,000 plus £1000 working from home allowance

Contract Type: Permanent/Full time - 40 hours per week

Location: Home-based/various UK meeting locations as required

The Third Party Business Support will assist with assessing the risk and compliance of third-party vendors and partners, ensuring that external entities adhere to Psychiatry UK (PUK) standards and regulatory requirements. The role is crucial in safeguarding PUK’s assets, reputation, and compliance with legal and industry standards. This is a home-based role (applicants must reside in the UK), though occasional travel may be required for face-to-face meetings at various locations within the UK.

As our Third Party Business Support you will:

  • Support the Third Party Risk & Assurance Manager in all aspects of third-party lifecycle management.
  • Assist with onboarding, monitoring, and exit planning for third-party vendors and partners.
  • Maintain accurate third-party records, contracts, and performance documentation.
  • Monitor compliance with due diligence, assurance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate across departments to implement effective third-party risk and outsourcing practices.
  • Help maintain and update the third-party risk register and support remediation planning.
  • Contribute to procurement processes, ensuring timely, cost-effective sourcing and contract management.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support supplier negotiations.
  • Assist with business continuity planning, incident response, and recovery efforts.
  • Compile and present management information and highlight risk or non-compliance issues.
  • Promote awareness of third-party compliance, training, and best practices across the business.
  • Ensure alignment of continuity and vendor strategies with wider organisational goals.

  • Confident working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Have strong communication and problem-solving abilities, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and be capable of managing competing priorities to meet deadlines.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience of third-party risk management, vendor management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of contract management and the full contract lifecycle.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Project management experience with a proven ability to deliver against objectives.
