The SEO & Content Support Assistant will join our Website & Marketing team, helping to improve, maintain, and optimise website content to support Psychiatry UK's clinical, operational, and commercial goals—especially as we expand into private patient services. Working closely with the Website Owner to carry out content updates, support SEO improvements, and ensure that pages across our website remain accurate, accessible, and effective.
As Our SEO & Content Support Assistant You Will:
- Review and update website content within our CMS (copy edits, formatting, links, meta descriptions, etc.)
- Support content audits—identifying outdated or underperforming pages
- Conduct basic keyword research and support SEO optimisation efforts
- Track and report on page performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Coordinate small content improvement tasks across teams (e.g. marketing or clinical edits)
- Help prepare content recommendations and support campaign landing pages
- Ensure all content aligns with tone of voice, accessibility, and compliance standards
To succeed as our SEO & Content Support Assistant, you will be:
- A highly organised and responsive individual, motivated and comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Qualifications, Skills And Experience:
- Previous experience in a digital content or SEO support role (agency or in-house)
- Good writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices (on-page SEO, metadata, internal linking, etc.)
- Comfortable working with CMS platforms (WordPress or similar)
- Familiar with tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Desirable Qualifications, Skills And Experience:
- Experience working in healthcare, mental health or regulated environments
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Screaming Frog)
- Light HTML knowledge or experience working with developers
