At Psychiatry UK, we are dedicated to revolutionising mental health care delivery across the UK. We are seeking passionate professionals on a self-employed flexible basis to contribute to our dynamic team and help us make a meaningful impact on individuals' lives.

As an ASD Co-Worker, you will be responsible for conducting the ASD assessment, collaborating with the Consultant Psychiatrist and Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT) to reach a consensus on the diagnosis. You will produce the assessment report, provide feedback to the patient, and attend CPD and supervision with the Team Lead as needed.

You will work closely with Registered Clinicians and other health professionals to deliver evidence-based care, ensuring patients receive full information on treatment options in line with NICE guidelines. Additionally, you will offer support and advice to patients and, with consent, to their families or carers, whilst adhering to Psychiatry UK's escalation process for any clinical risks.

As a contractor with Psychiatry UK, you will contribute to the development of clinical services, ensuring patient care is prioritised through ethical decision-making in a multi-disciplinary team. You will manage your time effectively, elevate concerns per Psychiatry UK policy, stay updated on relevant legislation and your professional development. Your approach will be inclusive, respectful, and aligned with Psychiatry UK's values, demonstrating integrity and high standards of conduct.

Minimum Requirements:

  • NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist, with ADOS and ADI-R qualification.
  • 12 months ASD assessment experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident with use of technology in a fully remote setting.
