Role Overview The GP Relationship Manager will focus on strengthening relationships with GPs, a key stakeholder group, to enhance collaboration and referral pathways. This role aims to transition from transactional interactions to strategic partnerships, supporting Psychiatry UK’s growth and service quality. Key Responsibilities Develop understanding of GPs’ needs, challenges, and referral influence to inform strategic decisions. Design and implement strategies to enhance Psychiatry UK’s reputation among GPs, including marketing, engagement, and pathway improvements. Increase referral volumes through targeted initiatives like campaigns and events. Collaborate with clinical teams to improve referral quality and patient experience. Support patient safety initiatives and develop risk assessment models in partnership with GPs. Track KPIs to measure success and inform continuous improvement. Candidate Profile We seek a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a professional presence. You should be capable of building trust, influencing decisions, and representing Psychiatry UK effectively. Essential Qualifications & Skills Deep understanding of GPs’ challenges, gained through experience in primary care. Active network of GP contacts for insights and engagement. Proven experience in developing strategic plans and delivering results. Desirable Qualifications & Skills Experience as a practicing GP or in GP practice management. Track record of achieving measurable targets like referral growth. Strong stakeholder engagement and marketing experience. Regional or national professional network.
