About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Passive Fire Protection Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have vast experience in fire stopping and passive fire protection, with a deep understanding of UK regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate cost estimation, project planning, and technical assessments for fire protection solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for passive fire protection projects, including fire stopping, fireproof coatings, fire doors, and compartmentation.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to assess project requirements.
- Conduct site surveys to evaluate fire protection needs and provide expert recommendations.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with UK fire safety regulations.
- Stay up to date with relevant fire protection standards.
- Utilise estimating software to generate precise quotations and tender submissions.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and support business development efforts.

Requirements
- Extensive experience in passive fire protection estimating, specifically fire stopping (minimum 10+ years experience).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software.

- Full UK driving license (preferred).
