We are looking for a full‑time floating support worker within Durham for a temporary‑to‑permanent role. The role involves providing individualised, person‑centred support to clients with mental health needs, enabling them to enjoy a fulfilling and valued life, participate in the community, and develop their abilities as fully as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide mental wellbeing support ranging from simple appointments to complex situations where clients are unable to leave the house.
  • Support clients with benefit forms, PIP forms, and group session participation.
  • Conduct visits of approximately 1.5 hours and complete notes thereafter; average 5 clients per day.

Working Hours & Conditions

  • Predominantly 9‑5 Monday‑Friday, with flexibility around start and end times.
  • Work around school times if preferred.
  • Schedule visits to meet client needs, using a clock‑in/clock‑out system.
  • Driver essential.
  • Business insurance required if claiming mileage; expenses paid at 40p per mile.
