We are recruiting Pediatric, Mental Health, and General Nurses for opportunities across Nottinghamshire. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care, support clinical governance, and contribute to safe, effective practice within multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to service users, ensuring dignity, privacy, and respect.
- Deliver accurate observations, risk assessments, and care plans aligned with clinical needs.
- Administer medication safely and in accordance with NMC standards and local policies.
- Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation (including assessments, incident reporting, and nursing notes).
- Support safeguarding and escalation procedures in line with organisational policy.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, allied health professionals, carers, and families.
- Promote infection prevention and control, plus safe handling of equipment.
- Contribute to audit, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
- Maintain professional conduct in line with the NMC Code.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- NMC registration as an adult nurse / registered nurse (as applicable to your registration).
- At least 12 months of UK care experience.
- Experience relevant to one (or more) of the following pathways: Pediatric nursing, Mental health nursing, General nursing.
- Strong knowledge of UK healthcare standards, clinical procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and evenings (where required).
Desirable Skills
- Experience within community, hospital, or care settings (ward, clinic, or service-based roles).
- Familiarity with safeguarding processes and mental health risk frameworks.
- Confident communication with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Evidence of delivering compassionate care under pressure.
