We are recruiting Pediatric, Mental Health, and General Nurses for opportunities across Devon. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care, support clinical governance, and contribute to safe, effective practice within multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic nursing care to service users, ensuring dignity, privacy, and respect
  • Deliver accurate observations, risk assessments, and care plans aligned with clinical needs
  • Administer medication safely and in accordance with NMC standards and local policies
  • Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation (including assessments, incident reporting, and nursing notes)
  • Support safeguarding and escalation procedures in line with organisational policy
  • Work collaboratively with doctors, allied health professionals, carers, and families
  • Promote infection prevention and control, plus safe handling of equipment
  • Contribute to audit, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice
  • Maintain professional conduct in line with the NMC Code

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • NMC registration as an adult nurse / registered nurse (as applicable to your registration)
  • At least 12 months of UK care experience
  • Experience relevant to one (or more) of the following pathways:
    • Pediatric nursing
    • Mental health nursing
    • General nursing
  • Strong knowledge of UK healthcare standards, clinical procedures, and documentation requirements
  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and evenings (where required)

Desirable Skills

  • Experience within community, hospital, or care settings (ward, clinic, or service-based roles)
  • Familiarity with safeguarding processes and mental health risk frameworks
  • Confident communication with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Evidence of delivering compassionate care under pressure
