We are recruiting Pediatric, Mental Health, and General Nurses for opportunities across Devon. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care, support clinical governance, and contribute to safe, effective practice within multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to service users, ensuring dignity, privacy, and respect
- Deliver accurate observations, risk assessments, and care plans aligned with clinical needs
- Administer medication safely and in accordance with NMC standards and local policies
- Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation (including assessments, incident reporting, and nursing notes)
- Support safeguarding and escalation procedures in line with organisational policy
- Work collaboratively with doctors, allied health professionals, carers, and families
- Promote infection prevention and control, plus safe handling of equipment
- Contribute to audit, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice
- Maintain professional conduct in line with the NMC Code
Required Experience & Qualifications
- NMC registration as an adult nurse / registered nurse (as applicable to your registration)
- At least 12 months of UK care experience
- Experience relevant to one (or more) of the following pathways:
- Pediatric nursing
- Mental health nursing
- General nursing
- Strong knowledge of UK healthcare standards, clinical procedures, and documentation requirements
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and evenings (where required)
Desirable Skills
- Experience within community, hospital, or care settings (ward, clinic, or service-based roles)
- Familiarity with safeguarding processes and mental health risk frameworks
- Confident communication with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Evidence of delivering compassionate care under pressure
