We are seeking a Complex Care Support Worker to provide person-centred care and support to a client with a moderate learning disability and autism in the EX7 area. The role will involve supporting daily living needs, promoting independence, and ensuring the client’s comfort, safety, and wellbeing at all times. This is an opportunity for a compassionate, reliable support worker who can make a positive difference and follow agreed care plans consistently.

  • Provide day-to-day support tailored to the client’s needs, abilities, and preferences
  • Support with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities
  • Encourage communication, routines, and independence in line with the care plan
  • Support with community access and meaningful activities (where appropriate)
  • Monitor behaviour and triggers, and report observations accurately
  • Maintain accurate records and complete shift documentation
  • Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team
  • Follow safeguarding, infection prevention, and risk management procedures at all times

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • At least 12 months’ UK care experience
  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disability and/or autism
  • Understanding of person-centred care and positive support approaches
  • Ability to follow care plans and record information clearly
  • Full right to work in the UK

Preferred Requirements:

  • CPI trained (preferred)
  • Ideally with up-to-date knowledge of crisis prevention and de-escalation strategies

  • Strong communication skills and a calm, patient approach
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet care needs
  • No sponsorship available
