We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Traffic Marshal to join our team for a new build housing project in Knaresborough. This is a short-term role, offering an excellent opportunity to work on a busy and dynamic construction site.

Location: Knaresborough, North Yorkshire

Duration: 4 weeks

Pay: £16.50 Umbrella payment per hour

Shift: 07:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday

Start Date: Monday (Immediate start)

Requirements:

  • NPORS or CPCS Traffic Marshal qualification required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic on-site to ensure smooth flow and safety
  • Direct vehicles and site traffic in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure all site traffic regulations are followed
  • Liaise with site management to ensure safe access and egress to and from the site
  • Communicate effectively with site workers and visitors to maintain safety standards
  • Carry out regular checks to ensure site traffic areas are clear and safe

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid NPORS or CPCS Traffic Marshal certification
  • Previous experience working as a Traffic Marshal on construction sites
  • Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm and professional in busy environments
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Good knowledge of site safety protocols and regulations
